I tried to like React but ultimately it did not do what I wanted it to do, so I went away from it, but now I'm starting to relearn it.
I've built this website with pure HTML and CSS, and added Javascript only when absolutely necessary.
I've used fullstack development with a backend but ultimately it is too cumbersome to do what I want it to do.
I want to just be able to build something from scratch, from memory, using the nuts and bolts of the web instead of somebody else's framework.
Lately, I'm using chatGPT-4 to get over my fear of coding backends, and using APIs
